the hotel by the beach

an unrivalled & stunning location in Falmouth

indulge...

... in everything a three-star hotel has to offer, but with the added independence and privacy of a high-quality self-catering holiday in Cornwall.

Apartments

We have two apartments with fantastic views across Queen Mary Gardens, and a cottage with its own sun deck and garden. The apartments' facilities include digital television, free WiFi internet connection, telephones, tea and coffee making facilities, hair-dryers and trouser presses, but also modern, fully-fitted kitchens and bathrooms, joined living and dining areas and terraces with great sea-views (Castle Beach apartment has the added extra of a luxurious hot tub in which to unwind).

Falmouth Beach Cottage

The cottage is similarly equipped but much larger: there are three bedrooms, a large lounge/diner, and its sun-deck is a perfect way to experience long summer afternoons and evenings, while still enjoying the luxury of being a step or two away from all your creature comforts. While you're on your self-catering holiday you're entitled to free use of the Beach Club, and you can choose whether to self-cater or have your meals in the hotel. Our house keeping department will also service your accommodation on Monday and Friday, with a complete change of bedding and towels on Wednesdays.

Self catering

Choosing a self catering holiday offers flexibility and the opportunity to sample some of the counties finest local produce. Falmouth is well equipped for its self catering visitors, offering a wide selection of well known supermarkets who actively stock fresh Cornish fish, vegetables and a good choice of other locally produced products.

For guests visiting Cornwall with an active interest in supporting local farmers and producers, Falmouth also hosts a wealth of smaller, independant local shops selling the very west of local produce. From fresh fish caught straight from the sea and landed at Falmouth harbour to vegetables grown in the fields just outside the town.

There are also a selection of farm shops which allow you to pick your own straight from the field for a fun and sustainable day out.
